Review suggested participants
When you create an Incident using the AI chat, Eolas suggests participants from the people you mention, such as the reporter, witnesses, victims, law enforcement, or suspects. Each suggestion includes as much detail as Eolas could find, such as first and last name, Role in Incident, and relationship.
For each suggestion, you can:
Accept (check mark): adds the suggestion to the Involved Parties list. This option only appears when the suggestion includes a first and last name.
Edit (pencil icon): opens the participant form with the suggested details filled in. Select Save to add the participant. If you close the form without saving, the suggestion is removed.
Dismiss (X icon): removes the suggestion without adding it.
View a participant's details
In the Involved Parties list, select a participant.
Review their details. Under the participant’s name, you’ll see their relationship to the Incident and related information, such as a resident’s unit number or a law enforcement officer’s badge number and agency. Their address, email address, and phone number appear below.
Select the back arrow to return to the list.
Edit a participant
Open the participant and select the pencil icon.
Update their details. The fields shown depend on the participant’s relationship, such as resident, vendor, or law enforcement officer.
Confirm the Role in Incident. This field is required.
Select Save, or select Cancel to discard your changes.
Remove a participant
In the Involved Parties list, select the X icon next to the participant. The participant is removed right away, without a confirmation message.
Participants and mentions serve different purposes: participants document who was involved in the Incident, while mentions direct a discussion message to a user.
