These settings determine things like user access, how incidents are categorized, what information is collected, which workflows are used, and how records are assigned or routed.
Most of these settings are intended for Eolas administrators or designated users responsible for configuring your organization.
Recommended setup order
If you’re setting up Eolas for the first time, work through these areas in order. Later steps build on earlier ones: for example, users are assigned to sites, and workflows use your Categories and Forms.
1. Set up your organization
Organizations in Eolas: organization details, operating hours, and platform settings.
Managing divisions in Eolas: group sites by region or area.
Managing sites in Eolas: add your physical locations.
Managing places in Eolas: add sub-locations within your sites.
2. Add your people
Managing Roles & Permissions: control what users can see and do.
Managing users in Eolas: add users and manage their access.

3. Configure how incidents are captured and handled
Categories, Tags, Picklists, Forms and Workflows. Each is described below.
Automations, notifications, and escalations: keep the right people informed as records move through a workflow.
Transitions and available actions: control how records move between steps and what users can do at each one.

How these settings work together
Your organization’s configuration determines what users see and what happens as they work through Events and Incidents.
For example, an Incident may be assigned a Category that uses a specific Workflow. That Workflow can include Forms for collecting information, assigned owners or roles, and configured notifications or escalations.
For detailed instructions, select one of the configuration topics above.
